Effective Sunday, October 22, 2006 (trade date Monday, October 23), a new NYMEX product will be available for trading on CME Globex:  NYMEX Russian Export Blend Crude Oil (REBCO) futures and calendar spreads. 

The contract (product code “RE”) will trade in lots of 1,000 barrels, denominated in U.S. Dollars per barrel, and will provide for physical delivery at the Baltic Sea port of Primorsk, Russia.  Seventy-two (72) consecutive contract months will be listed, starting with the January 2007 contract, on CME Globex.

REBCO futures and calendar spreads are currently available for testing in the certification environment.
